Outdoor Garden Amender
Use this nutrient-rich soil amender as you would any organic compost: as a mulch for existing gardens and veggie beds or by incorporating into depleted soil to add nutrients and organic matter.
To use, spread 1”-2” on top of existing soil. Leave in place as a moisture-retaining mulch, or work into top 4” of soil to further increase its beneficial effects.
Components
Aged pine bark, mushroom manure, organic compost, sand, peat moss and coco coir fibre.
Packaging
Figaro’s Garden Outdoor Soil Amender is packaged in burlap. Burlap can be reused in the garden (for example, for weed control, frost protection, or moisture retention). It is also accepted in Vancouver’s green bin (composting) program.
