Osmocote 19-5-8 offers a consistent release over 8 to 9 months and across a wide range of temperatures. You can incorporate it directly into the growing media or apply it as a top dress.

Apply in early spring and fall. For vegetable gardens, apply at the beginning of the season when crops are planted.

Directions

Follow these instructions for fertilizing your indoor and outdoor plants:

• Indoor and outdoor containers: Sprinkle onto soil surface, taking care to stay away from the plant stem and working into the top 2-10cm of soil. Use 1 tsp for a 4″ pot, 2 tsp for a 6″ pot.
• Gardens and landscape: Sprinkle evenly over area, work into soil.

Store sealed in a cool, dry place.

Packaging

Figaro’s Garden Osmocote is packaged in recycled paper bags that are 60% compostable and 40% biodegradable. These bags are lined with PLA, a biodegradable, corn-based material that strengthens and improves the durability of the bag. While PLA is compostable in many jurisdictions, it is not yet accepted in Vancouver’s green bin program. Please responsibly dispose of these bags by placing them in the trash.
