Perfect for pollinating squash, melons, cucumbers, beans, sunflowers, strawberries, and virtually all summer-blooming flowers, leafcutter bees can double or triple your fruit and vegetable yield! 100+ cocoons per order. Pick up is late May to early June.

Leafcutter bees are cavity-nesting solitary bees, introduced from Europe like the honey bee, and are now naturalized. These gentle, stingless bees are similar to mason bees and are excellent generalist pollinators, visiting a wide variety of flowers, including those in your vegetable garden. They are active mainly in July and August when temperatures are higher.

Leafcutter bees overwinter as larvae and require a period of warm weather to develop into fully formed adult bees. Larvae arrive ready for placement in your bee house (sold separately).
