A great source of phosphorus and calcium, bone meal aids in producing strong roots, flowers, and fruit. Sprinkle some in the soil when planting tomatoes or squash to prevent blossom end rot or when planting bulbs. For general garden application, 2L covers 5m²/50ft²

Application

Follow these instructions for applying Figaro’s Garden Fish Bone Meal:

Gardens and landscapes

Broadcast and lightly incorporate up to 1 kg per 10 m².

Containers

Blend 30 ml per 4 L (2 tbsp per gallon) of soil or growing medium before planting, or top dress existing plantings up to once a month by applying 15 ml per 4 L (1 tbsp per gallon) of soil or growing medium.

Store in a cool, dry location. Keep out of direct sunlight and protect from frost. Seal package between uses.

Packaging

Our Fish Bone Meal is packaged in recycled paper bags that are 60% compostable and 40% biodegradable. These bags are lined with PLA, a biodegradable, corn-based material that strengthens and improves the durability of the bag. While PLA is compostable in many jurisdictions, it is not yet accepted in Vancouver’s green bin program. Please responsibly dispose of these bags by placing them in the trash.
